LegalEase
Legal document management

Find the thread through your documents.

Organise case documents, extract text from scans and review AI summaries and timelines in LegalEase. Keep source evidence central to every review.

01

Keep documents connected to their matter

Attach documents to the relevant case so the source material stays connected to the working record. Select the appropriate legal document type when uploading. This classification is your choice, not an assurance that AI has correctly identified the document.

02

Read scanned pages with OCR

The document scanner and OCR tools extract text from supported scanned documents, PDFs and images. Clear, complete pages give the extraction process a better starting point. Check handwriting, faint text, names, punctuation and figures against the originals before relying on extracted text.

03

Use summaries to navigate, not replace, evidence

Case document summaries provide an overview of processed material. They can help you decide where to look next, but they may omit a qualification or misread a factual detail. Keep the source documents available and confirm any statement that will affect advice, a pleading or a decision.

04

Build a document-based chronology

The document timeline organises dated events found in the case material and supports downloadable views. Distinguish an event date from a document date, and verify ordering and missing events. A generated chronology reflects the supplied material rather than a complete or independently verified history.

05

Turn existing drafts into reusable starting points

AI Draft Import suggests placeholders, tags, document metadata and legal-provision information for existing drafts. Review these suggestions before approving a reusable draft. Remove matter-specific confidential information and verify suggested legal references before sharing or reusing material.

06

Before you upload

Review permissions, workspace access and AI-processing disclosures. Upload only material you are authorised to process. For account, billing or privacy questions, use the support page; do not send passwords or confidential case documents in a support email.
